Graphic & Web Design

Club Choice Ireland

I’ve recently undertaken a small amount of freelance graphic design and web content work for Club Choice Ireland. This included designing flyers for print use as well as creating banner ads for use in online advertising campaigns. Design work was mostly undertaken in Photoshop and Indesign.

I also provided┬ásome web design/programming work for the company’s website, including creating the USA subsection of the website and integrating a new credit card payment system scheduled to go live in early March 2017.

The Fingal Centre

Fingal Centre website thumbnailDesigned primarily with Adobe Fireworks, The Fingal Centre website used a custom WordPress theme.

My version of the site was launched in September 2011 and aimed to solve certain usability and browser compatibility problems that existed with the previous design.

The site was designed to be informative, accessible, easy to navigate and easy to update.

The Fingal Centre have recently changed the design of their website to another WordPress theme which still uses some elements of the design I created. You can view the live site at

Salt & Pepper Band

Salt and Pepper Band website thumbnailDesigned using a combination of Photoshop, Fireworks and hand-coding XHTML and CSS, this site also uses WordPress as a content management system.

The group is now sadly defunct but while it was active, I wrote the site’s content, as well as updating it with information about upcoming events. I similarly maintained the group’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Ashbourne Parish

Ashbourne Parish Website thumbnailInitially conceived as a flat “brochure” site, this project grew in scope to become the first of my WordPress-based designs.

The design was based on a template chosen by the client, which I modified and improved to better suit its purpose.

The site is designed to be as easy to maintain as possible. Parish staff post weekly updates through the WordPress CMS. You can view the live site at

The following are some examples of posters I designed for various Salt and Pepper Band events. (It should probably be noted that these were very much “zero budget” designs for a charity organisation. Copyright law was not a consideration.)

These posters were designed for various events in The Fingal Centre, and were created using Adobe Indesign and Photoshop. Images used in these posters were sourced through a free stock images website.
